Learn to Drive with Advantage Driving Academy

We at Advantage Driving Academy understand that plans change, and that you may not be as ready to start driving as you initially thought. This is why we offer full refunds on any course that has not yet commenced, and urge you not to start until you feel confident to hit the road running, where our trained instructors will help you shine on the road and in the classroom. ADA typically does not offer refunds after a course has officially begun, but special considerations may be made in extenuating circumstances.

Lessons may be cancelled or rescheduled upto 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time. In the case where a student fails to effectively communicate a schedule change with their instructor prior to. 24 hours before the. start of the lesson, the student may be held liable for a late cancellation fee of $50. The same policy applies for a student who is a no-show for their lesson.

At Advantage Driving Academy, we understand that some of our students may have a difficult time commuting around the city, and we've implemented a pickup-drop off system in place to help make our lessons more accessible. That being said, if a student has continuous late arrivals to their lessons, we reserve the right to terminate our pickup-drop off system, and have the student meet our instructor at our office instead. The student Is responsible for making up any time that they may have missed as a result of showing up late to lessons. 

The MTO has mandated that any student in a ministry approved BDE (Beginner Driver Education) course has 1 year to complete the entirety of their course. Advantage Driving Academy does not provide any refunds to any students who are unable to finish their course on time. 

Our packages are tailored to your needs as a new driver. Each package has its strengths, and cater to a different audience. Our Basic package is well suited to individuals who have access to a vehicle to practice maneuvers after class. and take to the drive test centre, whereas our preferred package is best suited to those who are confident with 10-hrs of in car instruction, but require a vehicle to go for their road test. Our Premium package is best suited to those individuals who may require a little bit of extra driving time, and require a vehicle to take for their road test. Regardless of what package you book, our instructors are here for your success.

Yes, our instructors are assigned to you when you inform us that you're ready to begin your  in-car training.  If you are more comfortable learning with a female instructor, please inform us when you're being assigned to an instructor, and we'd be happy to accommodate you.
